How To Create A Nameless Folder On Your Computer

Today we will be talking about how to add a nameless folder on the computer by following the simple steps that I will give to you.
This trick is very important especially when you want to keep some folders and files hidden from your pc users. Sometimes you may have some folders or files you don’t want your pc users to see on your computer, so by using this trick, it makes the folders hardly noticeable by your pc users or friends.

The steps below are used in creating a nameless folder on your windows

1. First  you have to create a new folder on your desired location. For example if you want to create a folder on your desktop background, right click on your desktop, click on new and click on folder.

2. Right click on the New folder and select “Rename”

3. Now erase or delete the text “New Folder” leaving your mouse pointer on the name
box.

4. Now press and hold your “ALT KEY” and type “0160” from the  “NUM LOCK”  keypad.

5. After doing the steps above, leave the “ALT KEY” and press the “ENTER”  key.

With the above steps, you can simply create a nameless folder on your pc or computer.

How To Manually Add “READ MORE” Option To Your BlogSpot Post

Would you like to have an option or a button to make your posts on your Blogger Home Page have a 'Read more' option, in case your blog post is too long ? If Yes, kindly sit back and carefully read the below steps very well.a
The "Read More" feature, which is also called "Jump Break" is a feature which allows you to create a post which can be expanded with summaries in your blog posts, so longer posts appear as an intro or summary with a link to Read More. With Jump Breaks you can show just a summary of your post on your blog's home page.

If you go to the home page of my blog
www.brownekene.blogspot.com, you will see that each blog post on the page has a READ MORE link, which after that, the reader clicks on it, it will take the reader to the full post page where the reader can have full access to the post or article.

I like using the READ MORE feature because it makes your blog posts to look neat and well arranged and I also believe it makes it easier for my blog readers to scan through the main topics on the home page. Also, it makes my blog home page to load more fast. I cherish simplicity and arranged stuffs a lot.

HOW DO I GET STARTED ?
In order to get the full lesson on how to add a READ MORE option to your blog post, I will like you to follow the steps below carefully to avoid making some mistakes.

There are a couple of ways to insert a "Read more" option to your posts. Before we go into the main lesson or teaching of the day, I will like you to Activate Post Pages and set it to probably 7 posts on the main page or you can change it to any number of your choice.

To do this, login to your Blogger Dashboard.

blogger read more option

Go to SETTINGS >>>> Go To FORMATING and set the "Show At Most" option to 7 posts on the Main pageor any number of your choice.

Creating jump breaks in your blog posts can be easily done right from the post editor, without the need of adding changes to the HTML. First of all, decide where or the place in the post where you want to create the jump break, and place your cursor in that position:

page break

If you mkae use of the new post editor, you'll notice the "Insert jump break" icon in the editor's toolbar. Click this icon and the "jump break" will be inserted into your blog post at your cursor's position.

If you don't use the new post editor, you can still insert a jump break in
Edit HTML mode by adding where you want to position the jump break.

NOTE
This READ MOREoption is manual that is it applies to only the posts that you insert the page break to.

Want to change the "Read More" text to something with more style? No problem. You can edit the "Read more" option by clicking on Layout and then Edit the Blog Posts widget.

NOTE: The Jump Break option or feature does not change how your post appears in your feed. You can configure post feed options by going to
Settings >>Basic >>Site Feed, and then editing the Allow Blog Feeds.

If you try the methods above, and it seems not working for you, it is probably because you are making use of a customized/third-party template. If you have customized your Blog Posts widget or otherwise have highly customized templates: you may need to edit your HTML part of your template to enable Jump Breaks. First,
Back Up Your Template before adding any changes to your HTML to avoid permanent damage to your template.

NOTE
If the links post or article are not clickable, I guess you are not reading this on my blog, so go to www.brownekene.blogspot.com now to read the original article.

If you need any help or have anything to say, kindly use the comment box below.
